Project Manager of Sustainable Construction

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Develop tools for Green Building construction

·        Assist Project Management in the execution and documentation of sustainable building strategies

·        Consult on the Pepper Construction Environmental Policy

·        Participate in Green Building interviews

·        Assist Marketing in developing Pepper Construction Green Building information

·        Actively participate in sustainable construction advocacy and peer groups

·        Assist Project Management Teams pursuing LEED project certification

·        Chair the Pepper Construction Green Building Committee

·        Develop strategies to continually improve the sustainably of Pepper Construction

·        Communicate regularly with employees on sustainable living practices

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

·        Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or Environmental Science

·        LEED Professional accreditation

·        LEED Administrator experience preferred

·        10 years experience in the construction industry

·        Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships

·        Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task and pay close attention to details

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Self motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
