Marketing Manager

Seeking a strategic and creative marketing manager to grow Epic’s online presence, engage with our community and increase lead generation efforts. (Candidates must be within San Francisco Bay Area)

We are seeking a strategic and creative marketing manager to work closely with our Director of Marketing to grow Epic’s online presence, engage with our community and increase lead generation efforts. We're seeking a candidate that will help develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns to promote our brand, products, and services through our various channels. 


The ideal candidate is experienced in social media creation and management with knowledge of best practices to help build a content strategy roadmap that connects our message to our audience and encourages engagement. The candidate should be comfortable producing content for blogs, website, and email communications. Event planning and management skills are welcomed but not required.  


Goals 

  • Promote the Epic brand, mission, products, services, and team across all mediums 
  • Help to establish Epic as a leader in onsite water reuse solutions and the go-to choice for building owners, developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and sustainability experts. 
  • Elevate our online presence with active and consistent engagement and outreach 
  • Grow our marketable online audience through owned, paid and earned media 


Responsibilities  

  • Define the content outreach strategy for social media and the successful acquisition of new followers 
  • Responsible for content creation and updates (social, ads, blog, website, email, etc.) 
  • Research industry trends and statistics to help build awareness of climate issues generally and water issues specifically. 
  • Help develop case studies and customer success highlights 
  • Test and manage the effectiveness of internal and external content 
  • Help in coordination and planning of events 
  • Solidify consistency of brand through all marketing channels 


Qualities 

  • Strong writer and communicator 
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to represent the Epic brand 
  • SEO knowledge and ability to implement technically 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Creative mindset 
  • Able to work independently within a full remote environment 
  • Willingness to adjust when new initiatives or updates present themselves 
  • Passion for sustainability and improving cities through innovative technologies 
  • Knowledge of real estate development industry preferred but not required 
  • Event management experience preferred but not required 


Requirements  

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in social media or digital marketing
  • Candidate must be local (within 75 miles) to San Francisco.
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics 
  • Experience with design software (Adobe suite products, Canva) 
  • Experience with marketing technology and software 
  • Knowledge of CRM software and capabilities (preferably HubSpot) 
  • Ability to write and produce content in brand voice
