Head of Client Service - North America

This is a unique opportunity to lead Greenstone’s North America client services team and be a member of the North America leadership team. We are looking for star performers who have at least 7+ years of experience in the sustainability space (e.g. carbon management, or broader non-financial reporting) and a broad range of knowledge of climate change and sustainability (e.g. policy, methodologies and frameworks, legislative requirements voluntary market developments). 

 

The key responsibilities of the roles will include: 

• Overall responsibility for North America client delivery, satisfaction and retention, management

• Line management of North America Client Services Team including recruitment, training and development of individuals, coordination of workload and resource planning with Managing Partner North America

• North America client upselling and proposals for additional work and advisory services

• Management of North America customization projects and advisory services (scoping and costing)

• Support North America new business target achievement including support on proposals & RFPs and software demo lead for North America prospects

• Input on roadmap prioritization from North America client delivery outcomes, feedback and scheduled projects

• Act as subject matter expert on product-related sustainability knowledge and sector trends

• Participate in marketing via North America external events / conferences, input on webinars, blogs, events, client communications and newsletters

• Managing North America partner relationships, training and supporting on content and sales

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Sustainability Management, Environmental Science/Health, Public Policy or related field;

• 7+ years environmental or sustainability industry experience (preferably including staff management experience);

• 7+ years client management experience

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong quantitative skill set, particularly data analysis 

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

• Seeking a work environment in New York office


Benefits 

• Salary is $110,000 to $150,000 depending upon qualifications and experience 

• Annual bonus based on company and employee performance 

• Benefits package includes healthcare, 401k matching and 1-month paid sabbatical every 3 years
