Engineering for One Planet Network Manager

Remote (United States)

The Lemelson Foundation is looking to contract with a self-motivated and multi-talented individual to support the Engineering for One Planet (EOP) Network as a Network Manager, mobilizing and coordinating the EOP Network.

The EOP Network is one of the pillars of the EOP initiative, which is seeking to transform engineering education so that all engineers will be equipped to protect and improve our planet and our lives. The EOP Network comprises 70 individuals representing diverse sectors and lived experiences who are committed to ensuring that education equips all engineers with the skills and knowledge to contribute to a healthy world for lifetimes to come. The EOP Network Manager does not need to be an engineer and ideally will be passionate about advancing sustainability through networks, systems change and education. The EOP Network Manager will be responsible for:

  • working with EOP Network members to build the community and strengthen collaborations among members;
  • supporting project teams through scheduling and communications activities; sharing information and opportunities with members;
  • fostering learning and collaboration for members through virtual and in-person events and convenings; and
  • ensuring tools and activities are in place for effective collaboration and communication.

Applications accepted on a rolling basis until filled. For details visit www.EngineeringforOnePlanet.org and check out the posting on News & Resources.
