Orange County Power Authority seeks a dedicated professional to collaborate closely with Orange County Power Authority’s teams and external consultants and assist in the implementation of OCPA’s energy programs.

OCPA is a dynamic, new agency, serving the public in the space of clean, and more affordable green energy. As a new Community Choice Aggregator (CCA) in California, phased electric service was launched in April 2022. Upon full implementation, the Authority will service over 233,00 accounts in Southern California Edison and San Diego Gas & Electric territories. We currently serve three member agencies (Buena Park, Fullerton, and Irvine) with the potential of expansion throughout the region. For more information, please visit our website at www.ocpower.org.

SUMMARY

 

The Energy Programs Analyst will be responsible for managing individual programs and for the implementation of a range of customer facing programs tailored to OCPA’s various market sectors including but not limited to residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal.

 

A key priority of this role will be to assist in OCPA’s development of a community energy program plan, which will guide OCPA’s program service portfolio and is tailored to meeting OCPA’s diverse community needs. The Analyst will perform research, solicit community feedback, and conduct analysis to develop and manage energy program activities. 

 

This is an exempt, full-time benefited position that will report to the Director of Communications and External Affairs. Supervision may shift as the organization expands.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary is commensurate with experience. For full-time employees the salary range for this position is $8,250 - $10,083 per month
