Technology Operations- Systems Integration Administrator
New York, NY
Drive organization-wide system and process improvements related to Bright Power’s strategic operational priorities.
Ensure end-user satisfaction by assisting in day-to-day support, including the management of system upgrades, releases, and change control processes.
Respond to issues, change requests, and other administrative needs of Salesforce.com end users.
Develop system documentation and internal policies/procedures.
Gather business requirements and translate them into systems changes and enhancements.
Help users create and maintain reports and dashboards with in Salesforce and using other outside reporting tools (i.e. Cluvio).
Provide direction and insights for team's roadmap and enhancements to ensure they meet the strategic goals of the business.
Maintain sandbox environments used for testing and training.
Assist in the implementation of security practices by monitoring login and user activity, auditing fields, profile access, and security permissions.
Experience & Qualifications
3-5 years experience working with executives, company leadership, and/or business unit managers to implement internal operations systems.
Salesforce experience required.
2+ years experience of Cloud Technology and an in depth understanding of the primary concepts and terminology.
2+ years working on Salesforce applications and/or general administration.
Experience with integration platforms, such as Dell Boomi and Zapier and an understanding of Web Services and integrations using APIs.
Significant experience working on an operations team and/or to enable business analysis and reporting.
Proven track record in working as part of a team to maintain and improve internal systems
Experience working with Quickbooks Desktop.
Experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, real estate and/or construction industries.
Background in leveraging ETL products and tools (e.g. IBM DataStage, Informatica, etc.) for data management is a plus.
Ability to learn new technologies and embrace the challenge learning presents.
A self starter, comfortable talking through requirements in detail with business partners.
Strong and current knowledge of web standards, emerging technologies and trends.
Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems.
Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation.
An excellent communicator, both verbally and written.
