About the Position
This is an entry-level position in the Sustainability department with growth potential. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sustainability Manager to provide support for PRO*ACT’s sustainability program, Greener Fields Together (GFT). He/she will be responsible for coordinating roll-outs, maintaining current databases, and updating the distribution network. Depending on prior experience, he/she will also be responsible for marketing and social media connectivity. This position requires an individual who can effectively work with minimal supervision, is detail-oriented, and can collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Basic Job Functions
• Work with Pro*Act distributors and other stakeholders on reporting sustainability-related data
• Send monthly emails to distribution network to update on program performance
• Track participation of each supply chain component including national farms, local farms, local purveyors, and hospitality partners
• Coordinate and maintain the GFT Local Farm documentation system and active local farm spreadsheet
• Coordinate and maintain the GFT Hospitality Partner documentation system
• Prepare welcome kits and organize hospitality partner and local farm onboarding
• Develop social media content and marketing collateral to support the GFT brand
• Work with large data sets to assemble reports on local spend percentages and other measurable procurement standards for high profile GFT clients
• Assist the Sustainability Manager with GFT-related activities, as assigned
• Perform any other tasks assigned by Management to assist in meeting company objectives

Desired Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, agriculture, or related field
• 0-2 years of experience in sustainability or agriculture area
• Interest or experience in sustainable agriculture
• Solid oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• High degree of organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail, flexible and reliable
• Willingness and ability to travel
