Role Description
Evaluates and tests software applications for usability and functionality. Determines quality metrics. Responsible for developing and executing repeatable tests. Responsible for maintaining he test automation framework.
Responsible for building repeatable test suites for multiple web based products
Responsible for adding test suites to the test automation framework
Develop and run tests that encompass both front-end UI and back-end analytic components
Identify areas of risk and develop appropriate test strategies
Work closely with other engineers to determine testing strategies and elicit development help as necessary
Perform investigation of escalated issues
Document test results and all issues identified

Role Competencies
BS Computer Science or related field
Experience using test automation frameworks such as Jenkins and TeamCity
Proficient using the following technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap
Experience using Jenkins and TeamCity
Manage time and work well both independently and as part of a team in an Agile environment
Strong communication skills, able to ask the right questions to the right people
Detail-oriented and innovative
