As we continue to grow in our current markets and we need to maximise opportunities in new markets, we are currently looking for a Scandinavia Area Sales Manager interested in a great career opportunity by working at a market leader in the joint integrity solutions. This is a field based customer-facing sales position located in Finland or Sweden ideally close to some existing customer base.

Day in the life of the Scandinavia area sales manager

Cover efficiently the area under your responsibility so a strong field presence is required. The area includes Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark

Develop strategies which support delivery of the primary business growth goals. Determine route to market opportunities to meet these goals. Use public and our market data to formulate and build a funnel of opportunity to assure year on year conversion of your revenue target.

Maintain an understanding of our growing portfolio and ensure it is professionally communicated to customers through presentations. To have an understanding of industry-wide issues, and those of our customers, and how these translate into business needs.

Daily interaction with diverse group of people as not only customers and peers but also competitors; you will conduct technical presentations and demonstrations

Objectives and Expected Accomplishments - How can this role Scandinavia area sales manager make an impact?

Grow the opportunities, increase the quotation funnel and prepare forecasts within 5% accuracy

Take us into new markets. Major focus will be on manpower service (turnaround, shutdown) and products sales

Develop a distribution/partner's network to maximize growth performance on the area

Obtain and analyse market information to assist with the development and implementation of strategic direction for the region including coverage direct or distribution in conjunction with the Regional Leader

Generate customer requirements through sales visits and close customer contact, provide appropriate reporting

Reach and exceed sales goals and assist manager with territory reports and forecast

Become an effective team member and proactively participate to safety awareness and improvement initiatives

Scandinavia area sales manager Qualifications and Education Requirements

Recognized Mechanical Engineering or Business Management education with proven track record of selling technical products

Must have an existing network of relevant contacts on the territory to cover

Minimum of 5 years' experience within the Oil and Gas industry (onshore) or the heavy industry

Worked within a large organization, preferably $50M+.

Positive attitude, enthusiasm and able to work with minimum supervision.

Commercial acumen, capable for building a strong network of contacts

Must be willing and able to be travelling and visiting customers 75% of the time

Fluent in English.
