Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Growth & Partnerships Officer, this Project Manager plays a critical role in several areas for the Partnerships team. To support the successful implementation of contracted awards, this person will track deliverables and outcomes for all awarded grants, including government contracts and philanthropic awards. A key facilitator, this person will also foster connections between Activate Fellows and prospective funders and partners. Other key responsibilities will include creating data management processes and systems and supporting Activate’s annual fellowship recruitment, in addition to administration and operational duties, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage project implementation of contracted awards by establishing and operating a system for tracking and reporting on deliverables and outcomes, working across functional teams to document contract execution and ensuring quality data management.

-Facilitate and foster connections between Activate and Activate Fellows and potential partners and sponsors by:

-Conducting market research on prospects across corporate, government, and investor networks.

-Scheduling meetings between fellows and visitors from stakeholder groups.

-Setting up and trouble-shooting meeting tools and platforms

-Tracking meeting metrics, including outcomes based on weekly and annual goals.

-Working with Partnerships and Fellowship teams to develop calendar and scheduling tools, as needed.

-Establish Partnership team data management processes and systems, including workflows, to manage fellow resources such as funding and business development opportunities.

-Manage the quarterly Partnership data stream updates across all partner networks, including philanthropy, government, corporates, investors, and entrepreneurial ecosystem partners.

-Conduct market research to expand the directory of network partners across philanthropy, government, corporates, investors, and entrepreneurial ecosystem partners.

-Support the annual fellow recruitment process through database management and outreach to universities and other channel partners.

-Contribute to the administration and operational execution of additional Partnerships team initiatives, as needed.

The Ideal Candidate...

-Has one to three years of experience with project management, data management, market research, and administrative duties

-Has excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

-Has excellent attention to detail

-Can work independently as well as collaboratively and cross-functionally

-Can work with fast deadlines and quick turnaround times

-Is comfortable with data management systems, spreadsheets, CRM tools

-Has strong communication skills

-Has a positive attitude, sense of humor, and flexible working style
