The Internal Communications Manager, Ecova 2.0 is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and coordination of all internal communications supporting this transformational, company-wide long term, initiative. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Internal Communications, and reside within the Corporate Marketing & Communications team.
The Manager will work directly with the Ecova 2.0 project leadership team, and collaborate closely with department leadership to support a transparent, clear, and well understood change management plan.
As Internal Communications Manager, you support the detailed communication activities of a long term transformational program for technology applications used globally by internal and external users, including Ecova employees, partners, our parent company and domestic and international clients.
Develop, write, and edit communications for senior executives, including organizational and product narratives, emails and slide presentations. Distill complex subjects into easy-to-understand language.
,Develop creative and clear employee communication that support a robust internal communications plan that includes frequent messaging, utilizing the organizations full breadth of messaging channels,
Design messaging and support plans that is appropriate for all audiences and their respective departments.
Interact with and influence executives, and provide advice that reflects an understanding of their business and leadership style, balanced with the needs of the organization.
Align the Ecova 2.0 communication plans and implementation in coordination with the Ecova Corporate Internal Communication Plan.
Collaborate closely with the Ecova 2.0 Program and Change Management leads to ensure that communication activities are planned and executed according the Project time plan.
Manages robust feedback mechanisms in all activities to ensure information is understood, audiences are informed.
Will work to efficiently synergize the Corporate Marketing and Communications team’s processes, brand style guidelines, lead-times, and messaging house in delivering the Ecova 2.0 internal communications plan.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
3-5 years of experience required
3 years working within a fast paced marketing/communications environment
3 Experience writing a variety of messaging supporting complex business initiatives
Intermediate to advance PowerPoint skills required.
Minimum 3 years experience developing and delivering successful internal communications supporting complex organizational projects or transformational strategy
Demonstrated project management skills, experience managing multiple deadlines successfully across executive / senior level stakeholders to firm deadlines
Excellent written communication skills (written communication samples required),proven ability at making business strategy understood & relevant at a local level
Effective team player who can lead efforts across disciplines without close supervision
Experience working within a marketing organization environment
Excellent writing and editing skills; able to adapt style for specific mediums/voices, excluding writing on behalf of CEO and executive level. Writing and editing efficiently and quickly
· Ability to apply good judgment in fast-paced, project -environment.
· Excellent creative and visual skills,
· Ability to effectively advise senior executives and provide feedback when needed.
· Demonstrated ability to work calmly, hit deadlines and maintain good working relationships
· Intermediate to advanced PPT/Word skills, intermediate excel skills
· Experience with concepting, developing and implementing efficiently within a creative marketing environment.
· Proven and efficient writer, capable of writing high quality complex content efficiently and at times, in volume. (To provide writing samples)
