Primary Purpose of Position:
Performs life cycle assessments for packaging products and informs businesses and functions about findings. Coordinates the completion of various investor- and customer-driven external assessments of Ball's sustainability performance, working across functions and regions. Supports the implementation of responsible sourcing practices and supplier monitoring.
Life Cycle Analysis
Administer and further develop Ball's in-house LCA tool
Perform customized LCA calculations for internal and external stakeholders, including the gathering of input data from various sources
Support Ball in technical LCA discussions and related standard setting processes
Annual regional product carbon footprint updates that support Ball's value chain SBT
Complete external sustainability assessments for socially responsible and mainstream investors
Complete external sustainability assessments for global key account customers
Maintain and improve Ball Corporation's EcoVadis profile
Administer Ball's global Sedex B account and track performance of our plants
Administer Ball's global Sedex A account, track performance of our our suppliers and prepare feedback for suppliers
Perform ESG risk analysis for metal and major ODM suppliers
Monitoring and Benchmarking
Complete Ball's global quarterly legislative risk register
Monitor and report on sustainability programs of competitors, customers, suppliers and “sustainability leaders”
Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college level education or work-related experience
Job related experience for 2 year(s) minimum
