Citizens Campaign for the Environment (CCE) is seeking candidates to advocate for strong legislation to protect our fresh water sources and our environment. We work on a variety of issues and are currently focused on passing a ban on single use Styrofoam containers. This step will protect New York waterways from plastic pollution and address the continued production of products from the Petrochemical industry. Other issues we’re currently focused on are fighting the current attack on the EPA, implementing strong renewable energy policy to quickly address climate change, and get NYS to our necessary renewable goals.
We are looking for employees who have a passion for environmental or social justice issues, non-profit work, or progressive politics and possess strong oral and written communication skills. We also provide an in depth training process to educate staff further.

The hours are Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm. Part time and internships are available, with a required commitment of at least 3 days a week.
Full time pay is $475-575/week with opportunity for weekly bonuses.
