We are currently seeking a full-time Project Manager II to join our Policy & Ratings Team. The person selected to fill this position will leverage experience in technical project management, stakeholder collaborative facilitation, and knowledge of building energy technologies. Experience in (one or more) lighting (including networked lighting controls), HVAC, water heating, envelope, water efficiency, demand response, distributed generation, data analytics, and related technology solutions is desired to help create large scale savings for our clients.

As a member of the Energy Solutions team you will have a broad impact on energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions through our work for major North American utilities, city and state governments, and other national leaders in energy efficiency policy. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Overall direction, management, quality control and completion of project deliverables

Developing and managing multiple complex project budgets and tasks with minimal oversight

Managing the design and implementation of multiple projects and bringing them to conclusion

Communicating project progress to management and clients

Interacting with customers, clients, and external collaborators

Conducting market research and data analysis

Tracking of industry trends and other market changes that impact energy efficiency

Lead proposal content development efforts

Minimum qualifications:

A bachelor's degree with an energy focus, preference being towards engineering, environmental science or public policy

A minimum of five years of work experience (graduate school years applicable)

Technical experience in the field of lighting energy efficiency, HVAC, demand response, distributed generation, data analytics, and related technology solutions preferred

Experience with energy codes and standards and/or specification development preferred

Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk management and mitigation

Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis

Strong organizational and project management skills. Formal project management training preferred

Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with clients and to serve as the primary point of client contact on projects

Excellent personal accountability and quality control practices

Extensive experience using Microsoft Office

Willingness to conduct business travel
