Salary: $6,645.00 - $8,259.00 per Month

Job Description: California Energy Commission seeks an Energy Commission Specialist II (TED) in the Standards Compliance Office of the Efficiency Division.
The incumbent will independently serve as project and team lead to perform the more complex and sensitive energy efficiency-related work tasks associated with the implementation, compliance, and enforcement of the Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Energy Code).
This position is open to interested applicants both within state service and not in state service. Applicants must have experience level in one of the following:
• One year of experience in the California state service at a level of responsibility equivalent to Energy Commission Specialist I
• Two years of experience in the California state service at a level of responsibility equivalent to Associate Energy Specialist
• Five years of technical experience performing technology evaluation and development duties in areas related to energy technology, energy research, development and demonstration projects; advanced combustion technologies, transportation energy technologies and alternative fuels; efficiency improving energy technology and fuels; including duties such as analysis of economic, environmental and public health impacts in California
