Posted Nov 07 |
Founded in 1995, Energy Solutions provides energy efficiency and sustainability consulting, including energy cost benchmarking, engineering services, emerging technology demonstrations, photovoltaic feasibility studies, and design, marketing and management of energy and water efficiency programs. Energy Solutions aims to leverage the best opportunities to maximize GHG reduction impacts.
Energy Solutions is a fast-paced and innovative firm with 60+ employees. We are rapidly expanding our client base, as well as developing new services for clients. We are seeking to fill an Energy Efficiency Project Manager position. Candidates should possess a degree in an energy-related discipline and have a minimum of two years of combined graduate school and work experience. Engineering, environmental policy, business, and natural resource backgrounds are all applicable. Professional experience is a positive, but not required. Strong writing and verbal skills are required, as is experience using Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and work independently is essential.
We expect employees to manage project tasks with minimal oversight. Responsibilities will include working with Energy Solutions management to identify and schedule resources to complete projects, conducting literature searches, interacting regularly with customers, monitoring the progress of projects, communicating progress to management and clients, and bringing projects to a conclusion. The Project Manager role also entails overall responsibility for projects, including overall direction and management, quality control, and completion of deliverables.
As a member of the Energy Solutions team, you will experience all of the benefits of working for a small company: opportunities to manage projects, close working relationships with colleagues, an active role in shaping company direction and your own future. At the same time, you will have a broad impact on energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions through our work for major California utilities, the California Public Utilities Commission, and other national leaders in energy efficiency. This unique blend creates a perfect environment for individuals who want to have an active voice in shaping the energy future in California and beyond.
Our company headquarters are located in downtown Oakland, California. We are currently expanding our business to include a growing southern California client base and we will soon establish a small satellite office in Long Beach. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental and vision insurance and other pre-tax contribution plans.
