Operations
-Manage Solar City Site Specific Inventory.
-Maintain proper inventory levels to support site crews.
-Maintain proper inventory accuracy.
-Plan material needed to support site crews.
-Work with Supply Chain to ensure material is ordered/available prior to need.
-Maintain inventory levels to meet need but not exceed inventory turns metric.

Responsibilities
-Properly organize warehouse to ensure all material is ready accessible, countable and identifiable.
-Maintain inventory levels to ensure crews have material to meet their installation needs.
-Maintain accurate inventory counts. Minimize inventory loss, scrap, adjustments, and variance.
-Maintain auditable records: Packing slips, pick lists, Great Plains Journal Entries, Job Close Out paperwork.
-Interface with Supply Chain for material needs and crews for material demand.
-Establish processes, procedures and/or organizations to achieve all metrics.

Requirements
-5-10 years warehouse manager experience. Supervision/Management roles.
-Inventory planning system experience. Great Plains a plus.
- Material Planning a plus.
-College a plus.
-APICS a plus.


Additional Information
Key Metrics:
1. Cycle Count Accuracy (Scrap/Adjustments/Variance/ Loss reduction).
2. Recording Keeping Audit. Ability to organize and retrieve key auditable documents on demand.
3. Stock out %. Reduce number of times demand is not fulfilled in a timely manner.
4. Inventory Turns. Ensure site achieves inventory turn goal. Balance inventory levels to ensure demand is fulfilled with unneeded inventory.
Competencies:
1. Organization
2. Ability to follow/enforce process.
3. Ability to research inventory issues.
a.Resolve inventory issues taking into consideration:
i.Past counts
ii.Issues/Returns from Work Orders
iii.Receipts/Transfer from other sites/SEKO
iv.Receipts/Returns from Vendors
4. Must be able to enforce discipline.
a.Must be able to stand up for polices in the face of an organization that is just moving into an inventory management mode.
5. Needs to OWN the inventory and be able to resolve 99% of the site inventory issues independently.
