YR&G is seeking a Director of Analytics to guide YR&G’s project work around the country and internationally, and provide overall strategic direction, thought leadership, and business development efforts. For YR&G, Sustainability Analytics includes a range of areas, including built environment commissioning (Cx); retrocommissioning; measurement and verification; energy, water, and air quality auditing; energy and daylight modeling; financial analysis; and general spreadsheet data analysis. It may also include greenhouse gas accounting and reporting, vision and graphical presentation of results, and communicating effectively with clients to inform decisions and proactively direct and influence projects.

This position anticipates working on billable project work, managing the analytics team (which includes Cx Agents, Energy and Daylight Modelers, and data and graphics generalists), growing our analytics team presence (both in the New York and national markets), managing key clients, and taking the lead on various business development activities.

About You: You should have at least 10 years of experience in building analytics consulting related to sustainability; experience managing client relationships, complex projects, and teams of staff; expertise in developing unique scopes of work related to building performance, credentials as an industry thought leader, an in-depth understanding of commercial real estate and risk management; a sense of personal entrepreneurism, and be an excellent verbal and written communicator. You should be well versed in green building rating systems (LEED, LBC, WELL, etc.) and provide direction and leadership to help the company continuously learn and improve.

This position will require working closely with YR&G staff across our various offices (Denver, New York, Chicago, Portland), to travel when necessary, and to work with members of multiple client project teams.

Salary: $105,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience.
