Finance Manager
CEA is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to work on average 20 to 24 hours per week for a 1 - 2 year term. As Finance Manager, you will be part of a team of experienced individuals who help to guide the firm’s financial, operational, and human resource activities. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment requiring you to be detail-oriented, quick thinking and experienced in all aspects of financial management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in making recommendations in order to improve processes and procedures within the administrative team. The Finance Manager will supervise the work of the bookkeeper and report to CEA’s Director of Business Operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations
• Produce monthly financial reports
• Generate and maintain company budget, budgetary tracking and regular review of revenues and expenditures
• Update and maintain comprehensive written financial accounting policies, procedures, and templates to ensure accurate and proper financial reporting
• Provide oversight and general management to Bookkeeper
• Manage 401k plan
• Manage all company tax filings, including 1099s, and other finance projects as necessary
• Assist Director of Business Operations with the company’s business insurance policies, human resource activities, and client contract management activities

Minimum Qualifications
The successful applicant will have the following minimum qualifications:
• 5-7 plus years experience in an accounting or financial management role
• Experience with a client services firm is highly desired
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar software program
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and experience with spreadsheet modeling
• Licensed CPA a plus
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multi-task
• Commitment to and enthusiasm for CEA’s mission

Compensation and Benefits
The expected start date for this position is immediate. The position will be located in San Francisco, CA. CEA offers a competitive salary that is commensurate with experience.
