In this role, it is essential that you have superior quantitative skills and research abilities. You have strong facility with spreadsheets, equations, and analysis. Ideally, you can express ideas visually as well as verbally.
You’re good at prioritizing tasks and managing time, and you’re quick on the uptake. Once we provide direction, you are happy/able to work and learn independently, communicating your progress on a regular basis. You are curious, detail-oriented, and have freakishly high quality standards.
At the same time, you are a consummate professional, have a positive attitude, and work well with/respect others.
The type of projects you may support include:
-Analysis of business and market trends and companies’ performance and communications, in particular around ESG issues
-Guidance on, collection, and consolidation of ESG metrics
-Information review, analysis, and synthesis for sustainability reporting projects
-Industry/issues research and benchmarking
-Materiality and value-chain analyses
-Support for presentation development
College graduate (minimum)
Internship, coursework, and/or work experience related to ESG issues and sustainability
Familiarity with ESG data collection and analysis; data roll-up and statistical analysis
Exceptional facility with Excel and Tableau
Bloomberg terminal skills and Python, R or VBA experience a plus
