Green For All is seeking an experienced Campaign Manager to add to our growing team. The Campaign Manager will work under the Deputy Director to advance Green For All’s priority policy campaigns in multiple states across the U.S. The Campaign Manager will be responsible for staying up-to-date on relevant climate and energy, clean transportation, and jobs/workforce development policies in states, building and maintaining relationships with coalitions on the ground, direct advocacy to state decisionmakers, and coordinating internally with a highly talented team to manage execution of campaign activities such as action alerts and mobilization, news media and communication, and events and engagement. Candidates should have direct experience working on issue-based campaigns to advance state policy, strong written and verbal communications skills, excellent coalition-building and communications skills, political savvy, working knowledge of relevant issue areas, and a demonstrated commitment and passion for social justice.
The Campaign Manager will play a key role in advancing Green For All’s campaigns for equitable climate, clean energy, clean transportation, and jobs/workforce solutions that protect directly impacted workers and communities, create good jobs, tackle climate, and improve people’s lives, from communities of color in urban neighborhoods overburdened by pollution to low-income families in rural America. The Campaign Manager will work closely with the Deputy and National Director to contribute to the development of Green For All’s campaign strategies, policy agenda, strategic partnerships with local groups, and advocacy tactics. They will also lead on execution of Green For All’s state policy priorities and campaigns, in coordination with local partners.
The Campaign Manager will report to the Deputy Director and collaborate with Green For All staff and Dream Corps core departments, such as development, engagement, and communications, in order to advance our goals and priorities. The Campaign Manager will be the primary point of contact for Green For All to several coalitions working on the ground across the country, as well as state policy makers. They should be comfortable representing the organization at public hearings, conferences, coalition meetings, and serving as a media spokesperson and brand ambassador for the organization.
