Business Development Executive, HVACR Energy Efficiency

Six-figure potential income with a proven emerging technology that is now poised for explosive growth. As we expand, PROTEK seeks an assertive Business Development Executive, HVACR Energy Efficiency to recruit and support New York State Commercial Partners. Strategic HVACR contractors and industry leaders understand the growing demands from businesses to drive down energy use, costs, and GHG emissions. The selected candidate will develop and maintain relationships with those who want to exploit the simplest and most cost-effective solutions.

Compensation and Benefits
• We expect Top Performers to earn well over $200,000 by their third year

• Build awareness of revolutionary energy efficiency compressor controllers, called COOLNOMIX
• Help Partners drive new revenue streams and take their businesses to new levels by enabling their clients to save 20% to 70% on cooling energy
• Educate HVACR contractors, project expeditors, and energy efficiency consultants on implementing the latest energy efficiency measures including combining COOLNOMIX with premium preventative maintenance services
• Lead NYS partner recruitment events – virtual and in-person (when appropriate)
• Develop customized NYS partner income projections and guide potential partners through standard partner agreements
• Facilitate signing of NYS partner agreements
• Guide new NYS partners through the onboarding and training process to get started on marketing, sales, installation, and support for COOLNOMIX and related service offerings
• Provide remote technical assistance and guidance on COOLNOMIX to HVACR installers and others

• 3+ years of experience in the HVACR industry including system assessment, operations and maintenance
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience selling to commercial, industrial, and/or government markets
• Familiar with commercial building systems and working with energy efficiency technologies
• Proficient with computer-based tools including:
o Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
o CRM systems
o Social Media tools (specifically LinkedIn)
o Video conferencing
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High integrity, creative, resourceful, and organized self-starter who can manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
• NY based US Citizen, at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license in good standing

Preferred Skills/Experience
• Strong relationships with NYS network of mechanical / HVACR contractors, project expeditors, and suppliers
• Experience with HVACR and other commercial building energy efficiency measures
• Experience working on successful energy efficiency programs, with specific expertise in commercial, industrial, and government energy issues
• Experience performing energy audits, energy savings calculations, and economic analyses
• BS Engineering or comparable technical degree
