Position Summary
This is a management level position responsible for the management of the development and facilitation of new delivery methodologies and incremental improvements of existing products. In addition, this position will help support and manage client movement from sales to delivery for specific products that require heavy statistical and analytical support. This position will work closely with relevant departments to facilitate correct delivery of initiatives to operational status.

Role Description
The Manager, Data Analytics will be responsible for development, maintenance, continuous improvement, and delivery management for the suite of Resource Analytics products:

Develop and maintain methodologies relating to delivery improvement and use methodologies to accelerate delivery of products and product improvements to market.
Guide department level initiatives and priorities to ensure efficient use of resources.
Design, test, document and implement product process workflows and delivery procedures
Work closely with Delivery Managers to ensure that products and processes are compatible with the structure and efficiencies of the department
Maintain knowledge of industry practices for delivery vehicles and determine best fit for clients
Occassionally participate in Implementation Calls with clients that move into delivery for Facility Solutions Product offerings solutions and maintain client relationship through set-up phase
Oversee the development and measure of metrics relating to products and product improvements.
Ability to produce standards for delivery in terms of underlying data methodologies and replicate those for an extended period of time
Able to direct and improve the management of delivery interfaces (FTP, Sharepoint, etc)
Manage the Energy Star process and interface with client data
Attend client meetings and provide input on options for custom solutions or non standard delivery requests
Perform HR responsibilities for employees in terms of personal development, performance issues, and department performance
Support Product Managers requests for product improvements/efficiencies
Support Director with any additional responsibilities that may arise
Develop Ad Hoc reports for clients
Develop and maintain strategy for Custom Analytics team
Visualization: this task includes the visual presentation of the data outcomes from above within parameters that business users can understand and employ. Experience using data visualization techniques in MS Excel and/or Tableau Software is critical.


Role Competencies
Demonstrated experience in independently providing consultative services directly with clients. Must be able to form relationships with clients, educate on complex issues, recognize and solve developing problems
4-year degree in business, engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
Has demonstrated ability to change/adapt department processes to make them more efficient
Demonstrated experience with Access databases, SQL Server and interaction with large data sets.
Experience with standard and interactive report design including statistical analysis in a business or corporate environment.
Advanced understanding of electric, gas and water invoices and rates
Five or more years of experience as an energy or financial analyst performing related tasks and services.
Demonstrated experience with databases, SQL Server, Data visualization software, Predictive Analytics software, Excel and interaction with large data sets.
Ability to communicate effectively through written and oral interchange
Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
Demonstrated effective problem solving techniques
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with prospective and existing customers.
Demonstrated ability to translate data into viable “stories” and associated efficiency opportunities, along with the resulting path for Ecova business solutions with clients
