The International Living Future Institute (ILFI) seeks an exceptional coordinator to support the Biophilic Design Initiative. ILFI is a creative, high-impact organization whose mission is to lead and support the transformation toward communities that are socially just, culturally rich and ecologically restorative.

The successful candidate must have strong research and communication skills, pay close attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. A demonstrated passion to and understanding of Biophilic Design is crucial.

This job is a full-time, non-exempt position. This position will be located in ILFI's Seattle office at the Bullitt Center. Compensation is dependent on experience and is supplemented by ILFI's generous benefits package that includes health, vision and dental insurance, 403(b) retirement matching, 3 weeks of paid annual leave, and 12 days paid annual sick leave.

Description of Duties
" Support the CEO, Biophilic Design Manager, and Education Director in the creation of the Biophilic Design Transition Lab (BDTL).
" Day-to-day coordination of the BDTL and the programs and initiatives that it conducts.
" Coordination of events, forums and workshops on Biophilic Design
" Liaise with the Biophilic Design Initiative (BDI) Advisory Team to set up and support monthly calls, summits and meetings.
" Assist in the dissemination of Biophilic Design case studies through on-line and in person education.
" Assist with the creation of a BD Network of volunteers and the resources needed to support them.
" Develop and coordinate a Biophilic Design Toolkit.
" Support of Biophilic Design Ambassadors and network.
" Coordinate on biophilic design throughout all of ILFI's programs.

" Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Ecological Design, Ecology of Place.
" Demonstrated expertise and passion for Biophilic Design
" Ability to research information and engage in detailed analysis
" Experience using powerpoint and competent graphic design skills
" Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
" Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy organization.
" Creative problem-solving skills.

" Direct experience with biophilic design research and implementation
" Design thinking experience or training
" Familiar with Wordpress, and blogging platforms
