Viridiant, a nonprofit environmental organization that works to advance sustainable, affordable, resource and energy efficient construction, seeks applications for an Associate Project Manager. Position Summary
The Associate Project Manager will support aspects of multifamily and light commercial projects to navigate their energy, sustainability and verification goals. The Associate Project Manager responsibilities will include client coordination for Viridiant projects including design review facilitation, field staff support and final project closeout. The Associate Project Manager will be guided by the multifamily project team to ensure high level service from start to finish.

The Associate Project Manager duties include but are not limited to:
•Scope and contract development
•Energy Model projection and construction document review
•Meeting coordination
•Technical Advisor coordination
•Project and document tracking
•Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control and field Quality Assurance
•Final Certification and Utility Allowance management
•Opportunity to support commercial services

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
•Commercial and/or multifamily field experience in design, construction retro-commissioning, building controls and HVAC and/or lighting design is a plus. Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
•Experience with green or energy efficiency programs is helpful, but not required.
•Experience with Revit and/or SketchUp, REM/Rate, Wrightsoft’s Right Suite, and other building science related software is helpful, but not required. Knowledge of ACCA Manual J, S and D procedures is helpful, but not required.
•Knowledge of energy efficient construction and green building, including diagnostic testing preferred.
•Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs
•Demonstrate in-depth attention to detail
•Ability to manage and prioritize deadlines
•Excellent task management and organizational skills

Physical Requirements
Performing field inspections involves extensive navigation in and around buildings, attics and sites, as well as climbing ladders. Therefore, an applicant must possess physical dexterity, endurance and balance to safely and effectively accomplish this work and be able to lift 40 lbs.

Hours of Work
Monday through Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM generally, with some flexible options. Some travel required. This is an FLSA nonexempt position. Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
