Recently, the Rainforest Alliance and UTZ, two of the world’s leading sustainability certification organizations, have announced their intention to merge later this year. The Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN), currently co-owner of the SAN/Rainforest Alliance certification program and owner of the SAN Standard, and the Rainforest Alliance will remain close partners.
