A Global Leader in Biotech is currently seeking a Finance Director to lead all accounting functions for their MA site.
Under this title, you will have the Responsibilities for the following:
• Directing, planning, and controlling all accounting functions for the Supply Site.
• Develop and maintain the current financial control procedures, safeguard assets, cost planning, and prepare and interpret financial reports for all plant operations.
• Plan, direct and coordinate all site accounting functions and services.
• Provide management with accurate and timely data for the interpretation and evaluation of operations, including the monthly issuance of overhead cost spending, manufacturing variance, inventory, and KPI reports.
• Develop, review and manage preparation of annual budget and quarterly RBU's in order to provide Management costs of achieving the operation's production objectives
• Provide financial support to site management and corporate finance related to capital and fixed assets. Prepare site depreciation and capital expenditure budget/RBUs and provide financial expertise on capital vs. expense and asset impairment issues.
• Ensure adherence to all SOX controls and documentation requirements. Provide appropriate guidance to site on appropriate control environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• 10+ years experience in finance and/or accounting.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to develop and analyze complex issues.
• Strong knowledge of biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing and cost accounting. Prior exposure to general operations, MRP, inventory planning and control, and accounting services is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in teams.
• Experienced in partnering with other functions to achieve success.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision making, organizational & management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong knowledge of information systems is required in order to develop, implement and maintain new systems and incorporate production-processing changes into existing systems.
Preferred Background:
• CPA, MBA, or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
