Compensation and Benefits
SunWize offers a competitive salary plus fully comprehensive benefits and performance bonus package based on an annual objective achievement. Primary Job Responsibilities
• Lead teams of engineers in the design, permitting and documentation of commercial and residential photovoltaic projects
• Lead the development of internal processes and tools to support marketing, sales, engineering, project management, installation, and customer service functions.
• Coordinate engineering activities to meet requirements of Sales, Project Management and Installation groups
• Coordinate system monitoring and performance analysis for residential and commercial systems
• Manage external engineering subcontractors and resources
• Develop engineering and documentation standards
• Develop resource plans and forecasts.
• Develop and evaluate new products to increase value, reduce cost and improve reliability for PV systems for commercial, residential, and distribution divisions.
• Support project managers during design, procurement and installation phases
• Support sales and proposal activities
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 3-5 years experience working in the commercial construction industry and/or solar industry
• BS degree in CE, ME or EE or related discipline required
• Thorough knowledge of photovoltaic systems, NEC requirements, construction practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams
• A personal commitment to a safe working environment
• Strong computer application skills including MS Office Suite; Power Point, Excel and Word
• Competence in AutoCAD preferred
• Detail oriented, organized, with effective communication skills
Other Requirements
• Occasional domestic travel may be required
